Now Hero MotoCorp Suffers From Vendor Strike At Haridwar Plant


After the infamous worker’s stir at Honda and labor unrest at Maruti, some 1200 permanent workers of two vendors which supply critical parts to Hero MotoCorp have resented and are on a strike for the last two weeks.
They are demanding higher wages and right to form a worker’s union. The Haridwar plant of Hero manufactures two million units per year which includes the company’s best selling Splendor and Passion series of bikes. However, on this issues Hero is denying any loss because of the strike.
